Well, this took an unexpected turn, I hope it's a good one as I hope you guys enjoy the final illsutration and enjoyed the while work-in-progress (if so, I'll do more in the future).

The white silhouette adds a lot of power to the detailed image and also lets the mind do more than the pencil could. Also directs the eye to the alien

I love the white body - strangely, I like how it finds sympathy with the white barb wire curls.
